OUR STORY

Founded in 2012 by Eduardo “Eddie” Garcia, Realty of Chicago has been dedicated to meeting the real estate needs of its clients through exceptional customer service and a strong commitment to supporting our community. Specializing in residential, commercial, and investment properties, the company takes a collaborative, team-driven approach to fulfilling our clients’ wishes and goals.
 
Realty of Chicago strongly believes in giving back to the community that gives us so much. We proudly host annual Back-to-School giveaways, providing thousands of children with school supplies, and an annual Thanksgiving Giveaway, where we distribute turkeys and goodies to families for their holiday meals.

Eduardo “Eddie” Garcia

Founder | Designated Managing Broker

Eddie Garcia is a distinguished entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. Born in Mexico, Eddie immigrated to the U.S. at the age of five. His childhood in Illinois was marked by poverty, relying on community food pantries, and attending underfunded public schools.

Despite these challenges, Eddie's determination never wavered. Forced to leave college to support his family, Eddie turned to real estate in 2006. While many struggled during the 2008 recession, Eddie thrived, identifying opportunities others overlooked.

In 2012, he founded Realty of Chicago, now the 14th largest brokerage in the city.

His success led to the creation of several other ventures, including companies in title insurance, home warranty, real estate development, home insurance, real estate school, home staging, mortgage services, a call center, and a tech development team.

Realty of Chicago now boasts five offices and 500 agents, with a new 27,000-square-foot headquarters under construction.

Eddie’s commitment to his community is equally impressive. For a decade, he has hosted an annual Back to School Giveaway, providing 2,000 children with school supplies, and a turkey giveaway that has fed over 60,000 families during the holidays.

His ultimate goal is to create 1,000 millionaires before retiring, reflecting his dedication to mentorship and community upliftment.
